March Favourites

For me March has just flown by, which I'm quite happy about as I am so ready for some warmer April days.

So first up I have this really cute cushion from Asda.

I instantly fell in love with the quirky nautical design and quickly had to justify a space it could dwell !
Though it was very reasonably priced the fabric is of an excellent quality.

Mummys here in UK celebrated Mothers Day in March. I was truly spoilt by my two daughters and husband but I was really touched by this lovely wrapping paper.

It's by the online company

I unwrapped my pressies as carefully as possible trying to preserve the paper so I can make a little creation with it at a later date.

Hope you have a lovely sunny weekend x

Easter Festivities !

So the Easter weekend is upon us and I have few little activities that will make a big impact on your Easter festivities.

Fancy decorating some cupcakes with these  crystallised edible flowers's how.

You will need:
 Edible flowers-I used Violas
 Caster sugar
 Egg White

First lightly whisked your egg white and cover your chosen flower using a clean paint brush. When all petals are covered in egg white, sprinkle with castor sugar.

Leave flowers for a day or two to crystallise ..... then decorate !

Next for you I have a pastel egg table decoration.
You will need:
Egg shells
Pastel paints
Flowers - I used Freesias

I think the photos are self explanatory...paint and pop in a few sprigs.

These also make a really cute place setting if you are entertaining.I used a gold gel pen.

And finally, if you have any of the flowers left over, how about using them to glam up some ice cubes.
Using cooled boiled water will help your cube stay clearer.

The winner of lasts weeks giveaway is Gemma Cullinane.

Gemma if you could contact me via email with your chosen design I can pop it in the post.

Also I would like to say a huge thank you to all of you who took the time to leave a comment.

Have a great Easter Weekend folks !x
